Exporting
The grid as a CSV or a workbook, a chart as a picture.
The files
Export (in the Source bar) keeps the grid as a file: CSV or XLSX with the numbers as written on the screen, or CSV, raw and XLSX, raw with the exact values.
- In a workbook the numbers are numbers, carrying their format, and a first sheet About says what was analysed, the records chosen, the filters, when it was read and what was cut.
- A chart's SVG and PNG keep the picture, with its legend, title and description.
- The file is made from what is on the screen: nothing is read again, and a pivot cut by a limit says so in the file as it does on the screen.
Keep in mind An export is recorded in the audit log: who exported, of which Entity, what kind of file and how many cells — never the numbers.
