Cross-filter: narrowing the other columns
A double-click narrows every other column to the records related to that one.
Double-click
- Double-click a record to filter the other columns down to the records related to it; the column says so, and double-clicking it again clears the filter. Ctrl + double-click widens the filter with OR, Ctrl + Shift + double-click narrows it with AND. The expression bar shows it as
CROSSFILTER(…), and a filter typed there does the same.
How far it reaches
A cross-filter (double-click a record) narrows the other columns to the records it reaches through the tenant's relations, within the traversal depth, read by the server over every record, not only the ones loaded. Records that are linked to many others can make what is reached nearly the whole entity, so a column keeps the nearest related records up to the Tenant's performance.crossFilterMaxRecords (5,000 by default), nearest first, and says so when it cut; select fewer records to see the rest.
