Screen guide

Application

The entry address of an application. If the application can open, it takes you straight to its default workspace; if not, it tells you why.

For: Member

When you see this screen

Normally you never see this screen: when the application can open, you go straight to its default workspace. The screen appears only when the application cannot open, with the reason and a Back to Catalog button.

Four conditions must hold for it to open: you are a member of this Tenant, the application is not switched off for this Tenant, the application has a published Application Runtime version, and the default workspace in that version is enabled and of a supported type.

What it means

MessageReason
This application could not be found. The application key in the address does not match any application.
This application is currently switched off for this tenant. The application has been switched off in this Tenant.
No runtime configuration has been created yet.No Application Runtime has been defined for the application in this Tenant.
The configuration is invalid. There is no published version, or the default workspace is missing, switched off or of an unsupported type.
You don't have access to this tenant. You are not a member of the Tenant, or you lack the access permission defined for the application.

Keep in mind If the application has its own access permission and you don't hold it, the same ‘You don't have access to this tenant’ message appears. If you are a member of the Tenant, the missing piece may be the application's permission.

Tip Every opening and every failed opening is recorded along with its reason. Pass configuration problems on to the Tenant's designer; the fix is made on the Action & Application Runtime Designer screen.
