Session and sign-in errors
“No session found.”, an invalid two-step verification code, or a last linked account that can't be removed.
For: Platform administrator, Builder, Account administrator, Tenant administrator, Operator, Auditor, Member
Symptom
- After an action, “No session found.” or “Your session has ended. Sign in again and try again.”
- In two-step verification, “Invalid code. Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.”
- On the Linked Accounts screen, “You have no password, so you can't remove your last linked provider.”
Cause
- Your session has expired or was ended from somewhere else.
- Authenticator codes renew after a short time; an old code is not accepted.
- If the last linked provider of an account without a password were removed, there would be no way left to sign in to the account.
Fix
- Sign in again and repeat the action.
- Enter the current code from your authenticator app. If you can't reach your app, use one of your recovery codes.
- If you want to remove the last linked provider, first set a password for your account or link another provider.
