The capability I want to open is not in the Capabilities list
The builder says they built the capability, but it doesn't appear on the tenant's Capabilities screen. Drafts and other accounts' capabilities don't enter this list.
For: Tenant administrator, Builder
What happened
You opened the tenant's Capabilities screen. The capability you are looking for is not in the list; or the list is empty and says “The platform has not published a capability yet. An unpublished draft does not appear here.”
Why it happens
The Capabilities screen shows only what has been published to this tenant: what the platform has published and what the account this tenant belongs to has published. A draft version is not visible to any tenant. A capability published by another account does not appear here either.
What inlorus does
- It deliberately keeps drafts and other accounts' capabilities out of the list.
- It refuses an attempt to open a capability that did not come from the list with “This capability has not been published to this tenant.”
What you do
- Ask the builder whether the version has been published; the version's status is visible in Account Studio.
- Confirm which account the capability was built in: if your tenant is not one of that account's tenants, the capability is not visible to you.
- Make sure you are in the right tenant; the scope switcher in the top bar shows the tenant you are in.
How to keep it from happening again
- As a builder, let the tenant admin know when you publish; publishing alone is not installing.
