Publish a capability to your account's tenants

Prerequisite

• capability.write in the account to create drafts and declare dependencies.
• capability.publish in the account to publish.
• These permissions come with the publishing rights (builder) given on the account People screen.

Steps

1. Switch to your account with the scope switcher and open Studio under Build.
2. Create a new capability draft.
3. In the list, press Declare no dependencies next to the version. The version shows “dependencies declared”.
4. Press Publish next to the version. The version's status is marked as published.

Result

The published capability appears on the Capabilities screen of this account's tenants; no other account's tenant sees it. The tenant admin opens and installs it from there.

Keep in mind A version whose dependencies have not been declared can be published but cannot be installed. Before publishing a version marked “dependencies not declared — cannot be installed” in the list, declare its dependencies.
