Screen guide

Entitlements

You see what the selected Account has acquired from the marketplace, what each entitlement allows and what is on sale right now.

For: Account administrator, Builder

What's on this screen

  • On the left, Entitlements: the entitlements defined for this Account, each with its status and whether its door is open or door is closed. Choose one to open it on the right with its start and end dates and how many components it allows to be installed; the address keeps the choice (?open=).
  • With none chosen, the right side shows the sections below.
  • Acquisitions: acquisition requests opened on behalf of this Account, the linked offer and listing, and the completion date.
  • Available to install: listings on sale in the marketplace right now, with their component and offer counts.

The only record that allows something to be used is the entitlement. Listings, offers and requests are parts of the purchasing process; at run time it is the entitlement that is checked.

Why it is empty today

Keep in mind The product does not yet keep entitlement or acquisition request records in any scope. That is why Entitlements and Acquisitions appear empty, and the screen says so plainly; this is not an error. Available to install, however, fills if there are published listings in the marketplace.

Because visibility rules are not resolved, Available to install shows everything on sale, not what is specific to you. Price and terms text is not shown.

Refused records

If a row does not pass the check, it is not hidden; it shows refused and a reason code. If the record is refused as a whole, the records named by the refusal are listed instead of the rows — those are the ones that need fixing.

Who can see what

The screen works only while an Account is selected in the scope switcher, and requires listing.read in this Account. Nothing is changed from here.

Tip For installed capabilities go to the Capabilities screen; for applications that can be opened in a Tenant, go to the Catalog screen.
