Configuration
You see, in the Account selected in the scope switcher, the value in force for each configuration setting and where that value comes from.
What's on this screen
The line at the top gives the number of definitions, the number of values in this Account's own record, the number of values coming from the platform and the number of keys with no definition. Each row shows the key, type, sensitivity, description, value and its source, whether the setting can carry a value in the Account, and the allowed scopes.
The screen works only while an Account is selected.
Where the value comes from
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| set in this account | The value is in the Account's own record. |
| comes from the Platform | There is no record in the Account; the platform's value is in force. |
| definition default | There is no record in either scope; the definition's default applies. |
| no value | No value comes from any source. |
Tip No record in the Account does not mean the setting is empty: at run time the Account is checked first, then the platform if nothing is found. Because the platform's values are copied once when the Account is opened, many rows may show set in this account.
If you want to change it
Keep in mind This screen is read-only; the product has no action that writes to the Account scope. The screen also tells you whether you hold config.write, but even if you do, there is no button here. Today values change only for a Tenant, on the Config Management screen.
Secret settings and keys whose names look like credentials are not shown. Viewing requires config.read in this Account.
