Screen guide

Home

The first screen, showing the work waiting for you in the selected scope (Platform, Account or Tenant). Its title changes with your role, for example Tenant Management, Assurance or My Workspace.

For: Platform administrator, Builder, Account administrator, Tenant administrator, Operator, Auditor, Member

What's on this screen

The screen opens for whichever scope is selected in the scope switcher at the top. If you have several responsibilities in that scope, the management screen is chosen before the usage screen. If you have no responsibility in the selected scope, the home screen of the widest scope where you do have one opens.

  • Under the title, one line on what this home is for; if a package your tenant runs has a newer version, a Package updates notice under it.
  • Counts, at the top: up to four numbers. Some are live (records, members, active capabilities); others are fixed numbers calculated from the platform's definitions (for example the number of permission keys or roles).
  • Pending work: the work queues that belong to your role. Clicking a row opens the screen where that work is done.
  • Your applications: when your tenant has installed packages, the applications they brought, one click away.

What you seeWhat it means
A queue is missing from the listYou don't have permission to read that queue. Each queue is tied to its own permission key; for example, membership queues need role.read and audit queues need audit.read.
not activated yetThe record behind the queue isn't being kept yet. Don't mistake it for an empty queue.
You have access to these areas, but their home screens aren't ready yetYou have access, but your role's home screen hasn't been built yet. You can reach the relevant screens from the menu.
No area is open to you in any scopeYou have no role in any scope. Ask your administrator for access.

Keep in mind For most queues, the number on the queue badge isn't measured today and may show 0. Zero doesn't prove the queue is really empty; open the row and check.

On your first sign-in

If you have never started the intro tour, the home screen first sends you to the Start screen. Once you finish or skip the tour, this redirect doesn't happen again.

Tip If you want a different page instead of the home screen to open after sign-in, you can choose it under My Preferences › Navigation.
