What's on this screen
The types, a row, the way back, the details, and what a number beside a heading counts.
What's on this screen
- The lenses (the bar at the top): Explorer, Navigator, Sheet and Analysis, four ways of looking at the same records; the one you are in is marked. While you are in a lens, the menu on the left keeps to its icons; its button opens it over the screen for a moment. Switch with one record chosen and the next lens opens on it: Navigator's walk starts at it, Explorer opens it chosen, and Sheet and Analysis narrow theirs to it, said as a chip in the source row (× lifts it there only; Undo brings it back).
- The source row (under the bar): what is read, the path you came by (marked Path), and at the row's right end the search box, View, Refresh and Fill the screen.
- The columns: Types, then a column for each step of your walk.
- The details on the right (on a narrow screen, under the columns): the chosen record's relations counted, when it last changed, and the record itself, to read or edit. Drag their left edge to make them wider or narrower.
- The status line at the foot: the latest thing you did, with its history.
- Types: every Entity the Tenant sees, by name, with the number of its records. A number is exact; where a number cannot be counted, none is shown rather than a zero.
- A row shows the record's name, its code under it, and its status beside it, where the Entity has such fields.
- Back to … at the head of a column returns to the record you came from. The row marked back, in its own group further down, is the same way: choosing it returns to the column before instead of opening a new one. A row marked again is a record already on your path, reached here by another relation.
- The record you chose last stands beside the columns, or below them where the screen is not wide, in the same record panel Explorer opens: its type, its name, the fields you may read of it — one with no value shows — — and its Fields, Relations and History. Above it: how many relations it has and of how many types, and when it was last changed. A field you may not read is not there at all.
- Show more brings the next records of a list or of a group. The number beside a heading is of the whole list, not of what is shown.
- A relation is walked from either end where its definition is bidirectional, and from its source only where it is not.
- The address holds the path: a reload, or a link sent to someone, opens the same walk — for them, as far as they may read.
- Refresh reads everything again. The line at the foot says what was read and when.
