Narrow and order a column
A column's find box, its sort, its menu, folding it, and a row's menu.
Narrow and order a column
- The box at the head of a column finds records in that list by name or code. The number beside the heading is then of what is left, and the column says Narrowed: not every record is listed. Show all takes it off.
- Sort orders the list by one of its fields; choosing the same field again turns the order.
- Each group of relations is narrowed and sorted on its own: the control beside its number opens its box and its sort. A narrowed group reads how many of how many.
- The ⋮ at the head of a column is its menu. For a type's records: Add record and Show deleted records where you may; Save as view…; Which records… chooses them by their values, counted before you apply it; Sort by…; Read again; Collapse column. A right-click on a column, off its rows, opens the same menu.
- Collapse column folds a column to its name. It keeps what it held; press the name to open it again. The path does not change.
- A right-click on a row offers Open — or Go back, on the row you came by — and the other screens a record can be opened in.
- How a list was narrowed or sorted stays while you walk and through Refresh. It is not in the address.
