Organizations
You see every Account on the platform in one list, open a new Account and change an Account's status.
What's on this screen
On the left, every Account: its short key, name, status and number of Tenants. Choose one to open it on the right with its status and the moves it allows; the address keeps the choice (?open=). With none chosen, the right side holds the form that creates an Account. There is only one platform; this screen ignores the selected Tenant and the scope switcher and always shows the whole platform.
What you can do
- To open a new Account, with no Account chosen in the list, type the name in the Create new Account box and press Create.
- The key is generated from the name; if the same key already exists, a suffix is added.
- To change the status, choose the Account in the list and use the Set to Suspended, Set to Active or Set to Closed button beside it.
A new Account starts with a copy of the configuration values recorded on the platform at that moment. It is a one-time copy: later changes on the platform do not change the values the Account copied.
What the statuses mean
| Status | Meaning | Where it can go from here |
|---|---|---|
| Active | The Account and its Tenants work normally. | Suspended, Closed |
| Suspended | Creating and writing records in its Tenants is blocked; the Tenants' own status does not change. | Active, Closed |
| Closed | Permanent; writing is blocked. | Nowhere — it cannot be reopened |
Keep in mind Make Closed asks for no separate confirmation and cannot be undone. If you are not sure, suspend first.
Who can do what
Seeing the list requires scope.read on the platform; opening an Account and changing status require scope.write on the platform. Without scope.write, the create box is replaced by who can grant that permission, and the rows show no buttons.
Tip Managing the Tenants inside an Account is not done on this screen but on the Tenants screen.
