Why publishing is refused
What the checks before publishing a runtime look for, and how each is put right.
Why publishing is refused
Pre-publish validation checks for: no Workspace Slot at all, the same key used twice, a default workspace that is not chosen, cannot be found or is switched off, an unsupported workspace type, invalid Explorer settings, and a menu item pointing to a workspace that does not exist. The problems found are listed and the version is not published.
Keep in mind Many workspace types can be chosen in the list, but today only the explorer type has a screen. If you choose another type, publishing is refused for that reason.
Tip Viewing requires application.read in the Tenant; changes and publishing require application.write.
